I love my vision following my Lasik surgery with Dr. Hodges. My husband always thought I looked super cute in my glasses, but now when he looks into my eyes, he is really looking into them and not through a pair of glasses. I no longer have to sit in the front row of the Cineplex because I forgot my glasses at home or dread the rain because my glasses will get spotty. I was shocked that I could read the license plates of the cars in front of me when I drove myself to the follow up appointment just a day after my surgery. I also noticed that the greens and browns of the landscape were just a little bit truer and brighter. Never again will I have to decide between glasses or sunglasses during the summer. Lasik is an amazing process, with minimal discomfort and fantastic results. The team at Hodges Eye Care and Surgical Center is knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I would do it again, but the results have proven to be so long lasting I should never have too!

I'm squeamish about people messing with my eyes, but my Lasik treatment was literally painless and not nearly strange enough to freak me out. Dr. Hodges kept me informed of what was happening and what to expect every step of the way, and although the procedure was completed in less than half an hour, the doctor took time to make sure everything was done with precision and care, to avoid complications down the line. The only mildly unpleasant part [was that] for a couple of hours after the procedure, my eyes watered and stung a bit, as if I were peeling onions. That ended quickly, and by the next day, my vision was remarkably clear, allowing me to drive and read with full confidence and comfort. For the first time in 40 years, I didn't have to rely on thick glasses or strong contact lenses to see more than two inches beyond my nose, and my sight has only gotten sharper in the days since the procedure.

From the moment I walked into the office for a consultation, I knew this was the place. From the first time talking with Lydia, until the end of the procedure. The staff is wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable about the ILASIK. I was nervous but the entire staff put me at ease. I'm so happy I can see with out my glasses or contact now. I first came in for a consultation to see if I was able to have LASIK. Once I found out I could I was thrilled. The staff was great and so was Dr. Hodges. So I turned my consultation into a pre-op. Since then I love my new life with out glasses. This was the best decision I had ever made.
